The MBDA offers numerous federal services that are designed to help your business in all aspects, at no cost! You do not have to be a member or affiliate of the South Carolina MBEC to use the following resources. Just become a registered member of the MBDA web portal.

• Phoenix: Is an online bid matching system that allows you to register your minority company within the MBDA's database of Minority Business Enterprises. You will then be able to access contract opportunities and other information vital to the success of your business. You will also be able to post opportunities and seek business partners.

• Capital and Resource Locator: Is a web-based tool that allows you to search for business resources interactively. This tool can help you identify trade associations representing your industry, government licensing and permit offices, management and technical assistance providers and a variety of other resources, quickly and efficiently.

• Business Locator: Is an online search tool that will identify Minority Business Vendors that can provide products and services in response to bids and solicitations - over 30,000 minority firms are listed. The primary purpose of this tool is to allow you to make referrals to increase your business opportunities.

• Business Plan Writer: Perfect for a start-up business that's looking for additional direction. This software streamlines and enhances your long term business goals, and maps out the correct steps of how to get you there explaining crucial business concepts along the way.
